Overview:
I created a sleek new logo design for Java House Café, a missional business with a Christian focus. The logo incorporates a subtle ichthus (Christian fish) symbol discreetly integrated into the interior of the coffee cup graphic. This design approach was intentional to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests of all backgrounds to enjoy the café's delicious coffee.

Logo Design:
The new Java House Café logo features a minimalist, modern aesthetic that conveys a sense of sophistication and quality. The primary logo utilizes the "Jost" font family, with the "Java House Café" text set in Jost Black and Jost Medium, allowing the iconic coffee cup icon to take center stage.

The coffee cup graphic itself has been meticulously crafted, with smooth, flowing lines and a balanced, symmetrical composition. Nestled within the cup is the ichthus fish symbol, subtly incorporated to represent the café's Christian mission without being overt or alienating.

Color Options:
I have provided the client with both single-color and two-color logo variations. The single-color options, available in jet black and light gray, allow for versatile application across a range of mediums. The two-color version utilizes a warm, toffee brown tone that complements the café's cozy, inviting atmosphere.

Mockups and Applications:
To showcase the new logo's versatility, I have created a series of mockups demonstrating its application across various touchpoints. These include:

• Paper coffee cups in black, white, and full-color logo options
• An exterior sign that greets customers upon arrival and makes their location very visible to new customers
• Social media files, including profile pictures and cover images, to ensure a consistent brand presence online
• A mockup of the physical paper bag for the café's coffee beans, showcasing how the logo would appear on the physical product

These mockups effectively demonstrate how the new logo design can be seamlessly integrated into the café's branding and marketing efforts, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing customer experience.
